What is a DUI Education Program?

A DUI Education Program is a structured class designed to educate individuals about the risks and consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It provides information on legal, personal, and social impacts, while offering strategies to prevent future offenses.

What dates are the classes and how long will it be?

Classes are held on the last Thursday and Friday of each month. Attendance on both days is required. Thursday’s session is 8 hours, and Friday’s session is 4 hours in duration.

Additional class dates may be added based on demand and will be communicated as updates become available.

Who is required to attend?

DUI classes are typically court-ordered for individuals convicted of a DUI offense. Some participants may also be referred by probation officers, attorneys, or licensing agencies as part of legal or administrative requirements.

Are your classes state-approved?

Yes, our DUI Education Program is approved by the appropriate state and local authorities to meet court, probation, and DMV requirements.

How long does it last?

Program length varies based on the offense and court requirements. Classes may range from a one-time 4-hour education course to multi-week or multi-month programs, depending on individual sentencing or referral stipulations.

Can I take the classes online?

Online options may be available for certain program levels, pending court or state approval. It is the participant’s responsibility to verify whether online completion is acceptable for their specific case.

Will my information remain confidential?

Yes. All participant records and class discussions are kept confidential in accordance with federal and state privacy regulations.

What happens if I miss a class?

Attendance is mandatory. If you miss a class, you must contact our office immediately to reschedule. Excessive absences may result in program termination or additional legal consequences.

Is there a cost to attend?

Our current fees are a total of $175 for both class dates.

What topics will be covered?

Topics include:

  • The effects of alcohol and drugs on the body and driving ability

  • DUI laws and legal consequences
