What is a psychological evaluation?
A psychological evaluation is a comprehensive assessment that uses interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests to better understand an individual’s mental health, emotional functioning, behavior, and cognitive abilities.
Why might someone need a psychological evaluation?
Evaluations are often requested to clarify a diagnosis, guide treatment, assess learning or attention difficulties, provide documentation for accommodations (school, workplace, or testing), or fulfill legal or medical requirements.
What types of psychological evaluations do you offer and what are the costs?
Forensic Assessment
Includes court-related evaluations such as anger management, alcohol and drug assessments, parenting assessments, competency evaluations, and job-related evaluations (e.g., police assessments).

Often requested by therapists for additional clinical insight or to assist primary care providers with medication management.

Is a deposit required?
A deposit of $175 is required prior to the start of testing, except for personality assessments, which require a $100 deposit. All deposits will be applied toward the final cost of testing.
What are the location(s) for testing?
At this time, evaluations are offered in person at our Nashville office, located at 406 Royal Parkway. Some assessments may be eligible for virtual completion; please inquire for details.
What does the evaluation process involve?
The process usually includes:

Who conducts the evaluation?
Licensed psychologists or other qualified mental health professionals who are trained in administering and interpreting psychological tests.
What do I need to bring?
To ensure the most accurate and comprehensive assessment, please bring the following items (if applicable):

How and when will I recieve my results?
- After testing is completed, assessment results are typically available within 2–3 weeks.
- You will receive your results either in person or virtually. A copy of your results will also be provided to you.
Can I recieve a refund if I do not agree with the results?
Refunds are not issued based on the outcome of assessment results. We use nationally recognized assessments and adhere to all required testing standards. Testing will not be completed if the individual is not mentally stable to ensure the most valid and reliable results.
